Social Events – Plans and organizes various events and activities. Handles all details and specifics related to each event.
Fundraising – Handles all fundraisers and executes all details and guidelines for the Chapter in compliance with the National Alumni’s procedures and processes.
Membership – Recruits members and maintains current membership roster and works in collaboration with the National Alumni Membership Committee
Juneteenth – Plans and organizes activities and events including the Chapter’s participation in the Juneteenth parade and celebrations
Resurgence – Connects with the National Alumni in regards to financial support to the University.
HBCU Alliance – Works with the Atlanta HBCU Alliance to support events, activities, and programs.
Recognition & Rememberance – Supports and provides for members during personal and family situations. Recognizes members during special times such as birthdays and other special events.
Public Relations/Media – Provides written, pictorial, promotional, and/or social media coverage of Chapter events and activities.
College Awareness and Opportunity – Attends area college fairs to share information regarding Cheyney and its outstanding history. Refers all interested potential students directly to the Office of Enrollment on campus.
Campus Cares – Provides support and resources to current students on Cheyney’s campus in need of basic necessities and assistance.
Chapter to Cheyney Collaborative – Maintains an ongoing relationship with campus officials to be informed about what’s going on at Cheyney. Reports on various topics and concerns pertaining to campus.
Gear and Apparel – Provide various alumni paraphernalia and apparel to represent our Alma Mater and Chapter made available to members for purchase.
